Here in England, I mark Chinese New Year by painting a ‘year of the…’ piece. We are on the cusp of The Year of the Horse so I arranged the entire stable of my horse figurines in the colours of New Year and contemplated the year’s forecast: Apparently it will be a dynamic, fast-paced, and bold year. It will be a year of intense energy, creativity, and decisive action – 2025, The Year of the Snake was marked by introspection. We should delve into new projects, take risks, and pursue ambitions, with the caveat that we avoid burnout. What will you do?
