Thumbing through wallpaper books is inspiring. Gathering disparate patterns and objects and giving them a new life is one of the things that makes me tick.
When I composed this it made me think of some of the Italian homes I visited in the late 80s. Italian women always wore gold shoes then, and so did I. admittedly, I have had a taste for gaudy forever.
