Adieu 2022

I found the most marvelous garish Christmas ornament at the carboot sale. I love it. It is made of plaster and painted and has a Latino feel. That is where I started. It is Christmas card making time, but I am not religious, and as I have explained before, I associate the season with red and green.
So, I set up the still life and began thinking about what I wanted to say; some of the landmarks to 2022 revealed themselves to me. As you can see, the garish ornament didn’t make the cut and ultimately, I settled on this.
