Egg tempera workshops

In May I was asked to arrange an egg tempera workshop session. I was given some dates and put them to my newsletter subscribers. If I could get 4 -6 people for a workshop then I would run the session(s). As it turned out, I ran three.

Getting my studio ready for a workshop or open studios is always disruptive, but by timing things around my open studios, it wasn’t such a big deal and I enjoyed each of the sessions enormously.. What I liked best was that I slowed down, thought about my process, looked at how other artists do things and got inspired by their work and what the workshop ‘students’ were doing!

Once I have four or more interested participants, we can find a date, The sessions included a shared lunch and I catered to all abilities. I have had some images since the workshop from participants taking things in their own direction too. And I used one of the set-ups from the last class to paint my own version!
